India Special photoset 8: The hillclimb is a great success, with all sorts of participants in all sorts of vehicles, from the Hindustan Ambassador (based on the Morris Oxford, and virtually unchanged since 1958) to the Tata Nano (the world’s cheapest new car).  Other participants included a Tuk Tuk, a policeman on a motorbike and even an elephant.

Despite the best attempts at diplomacy, however, there could only be one winner.  And that winner was driving a Jaguar with a four litre straight six engine.  I wonder who that might have been…
